PRIVATE DÖNÜŞÜM KINDERGARTEN HEALTH PROCEDURE

Especially during winter months, the probability of our students to encounter diseases increases. As Private Dönüşüm Kindergarten, our priority is; to protect our children’s physical and mental health, to prevent possible harm in the school environment, and to provide educational, awareness-raising and guiding services.

In order for all students and teachers in our school to continue their education and training in a healthy environment, it is essential that if your child showing signs of illness it is recommended not to send her/him to school until the treatment is finished.

If our students have health problems at school;

1. Under the supervision of group teachers, first intervention such as fever measurement or fever reduction is carried out and the school management is informed of the situation.
2. If the negative situation of the student continues, the parent is informed.
3. The student who received the first aid is sent back to the class if he/she feels good and his/her complaints such as pain disappear. If the health problem continues, the parent is informed and the student is kept under surveillance until the parent arrives. The parents are informed about the process and the transactions made.
4. For children treated with medication, the medication should be delivered to the group teacher by the family of student and information about procedure should be given for using the medication.
5. When students come to school, their clothes are changed and their hands are disinfected.
6. The body temperature of the students is measured and recorded upon entering the school, leaving the school and during the day.
7. Students’ belongings (course equipment and materials, etc.) are private and students are not allowed to use each other’s belongings.
8. Social distance and correct use of masks are taught to students through games.
9. Students are given training on correct health behaviors such as personal hygiene, hand washing and sneezing into the elbow.
10. Diseases, transmission routes and points to be considered, teaching activities are planned and implemented with games and in accordance with the age and developmental characteristics of the students.
11. After coming to school, students who show any signs of illness during the day are taken to the isolation room and handed over to their family with appropriate measures.

What Should the Parents of a Sick Student Do?

1. After our sick student is delivered to you, have him checked by a doctor.
2. If our student will not be able to attend school, please inform the school administration or your teacher.
3. Considering the health of our other students and teachers, please do not send your sick child to school.
